Our home does not have well so we have two options to get water to the house. 

1) Use water truck delivery to fill up 2wex3000L upper tanks 

Water truck -> Upper tanks -> Home usage

However during the rain season the water truck can not climb up the road to our home. Therefore we needed an new solution. 

2) Collect rain water and pump the water to the water tanks which are located on upper part of the land.

Roof rain water collection -> Filtering -> Water cache (1000L) -> Water pump -> Upper tanks -> Home usage

During the rain^H^H^H^H summer season there is quite a lot of rain in Phuket.  from 200 to 380mm / month.  Our roof area where we collect water is about 100m2. Rain fall to the roof is therefore 20-38m3 / month. Even if we could collect only 25% of the rain, that would give us 5.000 to 10.000 liters of water / month.
